dc.description.abstract |
Cancer is one of the most common causes of morbidity and mortality in the world.
Around the globe, 19.3 million new cases of cancer were diagnosed in 2020, while about ten
million people died from cancer. Patients receiving myelosuppressive chemotherapy for cancer
face the risk of developing chemotherapy-induced neutropenia, which puts them at risk for serious
consequences like febrile neutropenia. |
