dc.description.abstract |
The most common cause of morbidity and mortality in neonatal intensive care
units around the world is nosocomial or healthcare associated infections. Up to 40% of
reported neonatal mortality in developing countries is attributed to nosocomial infections,
which have a 30% incidence in neonatal critical care units. |
